BNYS

Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) is a medical graduation in Naturopathy and Yoga. The BNYS program includes a period of regular study of four and half years, followed by a compulsory rotatory internship of one year. Naturopathy and Yoga is a promising program among aspirants in upcoming generation. The program combines the knowledge of modern medical systems, along with the traditional healing science of Naturopathy and Yoga. The program brings in blend of theoretical basis with hands on training in handling the modern-day lifestyle disorders

Program Outline

About

The under-graduate courses at CNY aim at recognizing the health needs of the community to carry out professional obligations ethically and in keeping with the objectives of the national health policy. It functions to develop the skills the competencies required to deliver Naturopathy and Yoga health care system. The courses enable a student to expertly diagnose and manage common diseases and health problems of individuals as well as community, and work with the health team as a fully qualified doctor at primary, secondary or tertiary levels, with his/her clinical experience and skills in history, physical examination and relevant investigations. The courses motivate the students to be proficient in promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative medicine and therapy for common health issues.

Duration & Eligibility

Duration of the course shall be 5 ½ years (Five and half years). The course shall include a period of regular study of four and a half (4 ½) years, followed by a compulsory rotatory internship of one year.

Pass in 12th standard/ PUC with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
